Apple cider vinegar

While not an official cold treatment, apple cider vinegar can boost the immune system and prevent future outbreaks. It is also antibacterial and can loosen mucus. This is an obvious relief for anyone suffering from persistent cough. Although the claims are supported by more research, it is important to consult a doctor before making any drastic changes to your diet. Despite its reluctance to be drunk, apple cider vinegar is a great alternative to other drugs.

Honey

Honey can be used to treat colds. Honey has been used by humans as a medicine for thousands years. It is mentioned in the Qur'an and Bible as a medicine. Hippocrates, the Greek doctor and father of early medicine, also wrote about honey's healing properties. Oxford University conducted a study that analyzed 14 studies. How To

Here are 10 tips to live a healthy lifestyle

How to lead a healthy lifestyle

Our fast-paced world means that we aren't getting enough sleep, don't eat enough, drink too much alcohol, and smoke too many cigarettes. We don't pay enough attention to our bodies' health.

When you work full time and have to balance your exercise and diet, it can be very difficult to create a healthy lifestyle. Stress makes it even more difficult. Our minds tell us we can't handle this situation any longer so we feel guilty and give in.

If your body feels ill, it most likely is. Talk to your doctor about your condition. If there are no signs of something abnormal, stress from your job could be the cause.

People believe they are lucky because they can go to the gym every day or have friends who keep them fit. Those people are lucky. They don't have problems. They had everything under control. I wish that everyone could be like them. Most people don't know how balance work and life. Many people fall prey to bad habits, which can eventually lead them to developing diseases like heart disease, diabetes and cancer.

Here are some tips that might help you to improve your lifestyle:

  1. Sleep well - at least 7 hours per night, maximum 8 hours. This means sleeping properly and not consuming caffeine in the hour before bed. Caffeine blocks the production of melatonin hormones and makes it harder to fall asleep. Your bedroom should be darkened and cleaned. Make sure that you use blackout curtains especially if you are working late at night.
  2. Eat healthy. Have breakfast every morning. Avoid sugary products, fried foods, white breads, and processed food. Try to include whole grains, fruits, and vegetables for lunch. It is recommended that afternoon snacks be high in fiber and protein, such as nuts and seeds, beans, fish, and dairy products. Avoid snacking on unhealthy foods like chips, candy, cookies, cakes, and sodas.
  3. Drink plenty of water - Most of us don' t drink enough water. Water helps us burn more calories and maintains our skin's youthfulness. It also flushes toxins out of our bodies and improves our digestion. You can lose weight by drinking six glasses of water per day. Your urine color is the best way to determine your hydration levels. Dehydrated is yellow, orange dehydrated slightly; normal pink urine; overhydrated red urine; and clear urine indicates highly-hydrated.
  4. Exercise - Regular physical activity has been proven to increase energy levels and reduce depression. Walking is an easy way to improve your mood. Even though walking looks simple, it requires effort and concentration. Your brain needs to focus on walking while breathing slowly and deeply. A brisk walk for 30 minutes can burn between 100 and 150 calories. Start slowly and increase your pace gradually. To prevent injuries, be sure to stretch after exercising.
  5. Positive thinking is vital for mental health. Positive thinking makes it easier to create a happy space within yourself. Negative thoughts cause anxiety and drain our energy. You can stay motivated by thinking about what you want to achieve. You don't have to take on all of the new tasks at once. Break them down into smaller tasks. Remember that you are bound to fail sometimes but just pick yourself up and start again.
  6. Learn to say No. We are often so busy that our attention is not focused on the important things we are doing. It is important to learn to say No when you need to. Being polite when you say "no" does not mean that you are rude. A No means that you can't take care of something now. You can always find other ways to complete the job later. Be clear about your boundaries. Ask for assistance from someone else. This work can be delegated to someone else.
  7. Take care of your body - Keep track of your diet. Healthy eating habits will increase your metabolism and help you lose weight. Don't eat too much oily or heavy foods as they can increase cholesterol levels. Three meals and two snacks are a good rule of thumb. You should consume around 2000 - 2500 calories per day.
  8. Meditation is an excellent stress reliever. Your mind will relax when you sit still and close your eyes. This exercise will give your mind clarity, which is very important in making decisions. Regular meditation practice will make you happier and calmer.
  9. Do not skip breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of each day. Skipping breakfast could lead to eating more lunchtime. It is never too late, so long as you eat your breakfast within one hour of getting up. Breakfast boosts energy and helps to manage hunger.
  10. Clean eating is key to a happy mood. Avoid junk food and any food products that contain artificial ingredients or preservatives. These products keep your body acidic and trigger cravings. Fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamins and minerals that improve overall health.
